NOISY OFFERING – SUNDAY, APRIL 29
This Sunday is Noisy Offering! Bring all your loose change and let’s make some noise. Proceeds will benefit “Club 66” Shoe Drive.
CAPITAL CAMPAIGN: WHERE DO I FIT IN?
Our capital campaign is to raise the $600,000 needed for our down payment of our current campus.
Commitment cards continue to be turned in as we are nearing $400,000 towards the purchase of our campus. God is alive and well at Christ the Victor as His hands are constantly guiding our church and its’ mission in the San Tan Valley. Your commitment cards can be placed in the offering basket or mailed to the church office. If you require any additional information, please contact the office at 520-723-4220 or email firstname.lastname@example.org Please continue to prayerfully consider the important part you can have in the future of Christ the Victor Lutheran Church as we strive to bring the love of Jesus to our community.
ADOPT-A-HIGHWAY – SATURDAY, APRIL 28
We will be working on our section of Hunt Highway on Saturday, April 28. Meet at 9am at the church for your safety vest and supplies. Sign up in the Nook.
SEMI-ANNUAL CONGREGATIONAL MEETING
Please plan to attend your Sunday, April 29 meeting @ 11:00am. It is a great time to be involved at Christ the Victor Lutheran Church!
YARD SALE HELPERS!
If you have or would like to help with our annual yard sale, we will hold a brief meeting immediately after the Semi-Annual Congregational meeting on Sunday, April 29. We are specifically looking for one or two people to take over the reins of leadership for this event. This year’s sale is Friday & Saturday, November 2-3, 2018.
NEW MINISTRY – SHOES FOR THE HOMELESS
In cooperation with St. Michael’s we will be collecting slightly used shoes for the homeless. Midwest Food Bank, a faith based Food Bank, has requested our help in supporting their mission. We pick up free food from Midwest twice a month, in-cluding items we do not have the resources to purchase: i.e. baby food, paper goods, and cleaning products. As they help us feed our community, let’s help them put shoes on theirs. Look for the Shoe Box on Sunday mornings.
***Club 66 is also gathering slightly used shoes and socks for our Food Bank clients. They have a receptacle in the Club 66 area for your donations.
If you would like to provide a vase of flowers for the altar, sign up in the nook. Please have your flowers placed on the altar by 7:30am on the morning to which you committed. You may take them home following the 9:30am service.
2018 Christ the Victor Directories are available!
Printed copies can be picked up between services near the Welcome Desk. A $3 donation is suggested to cover the cost of printing. If you would like a digital copy, please email email@example.com and we will email one to you.
