NEW MINISTRY – SHOES FOR THE HOMELESS
In cooperation with St. Michael’s we will be collecting slightly used shoes for the homeless. Midwest Food Bank, a faith based Food Bank, has requested our help in supporting their mission. We pick up free food from Midwest twice a month, in-cluding items we do not have the resources to purchase: i.e. baby food, paper goods, and cleaning products. As they help us feed our community, let’s help them put shoes on theirs. Look for the Shoe Box on Sunday mornings.
**Club 66 is also gathering slightly used shoes and socks for our Food Bank clients. They have a receptacle in the Club 66 area for your donations.

FOOD BANK REPORT FOR APRIL: 237 families served; 1,409 people served; 23,760 pounds of food; 308 The Victor’s Closet children served.

PLASTIC GROCERY BAGS NEEDED: Please save your plastic grocery bags for the Food Bank (It takes about 6 bags per family and we serve close to 250 families per month. That’s upwards of 150o bags/month.) Just drop them off in the blue Food Bank box at the front door to the church.

VOLUNTEERS? Volunteers are always needed to help on Tuesday & Thursday from 9:00-11:00am.

THE VICTOR’S CLOSET: Open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00-11:00am (same days and hours as Food Bank). Clothing donations needed for toddler to teen clothing.
