DARE TO: Face Your Fears – Daniel 3:13-18 – Pastor Bruce Lerum

Face your fears or give in to them.

Confidence in your relationship with God is the difference.

“If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver us from it, and he will deliver us from Your Majesty’s hand.” – Daniel 3:17 

The heat gets turned up when we face our fears.

We can still anticipate what is in store for us.

He replied, “Go tell that fox, ‘I will keep on driving out demons and healing people today and tomorrow, and on the third day I will reach my goal.'” – Luke 13:32 

Blind faith doesn’t imply living recklessly.

Faith driven means diligent planning.

“Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us…” – Ephesians 3:20 


Study Questions:

1. If we let it, fear will stop us in our tracks. What fear in your life is stopping you from doing something difficult?

2. Are you imagining what God can do in spite of this fear?

3. What is the cost of moving forward? (Talk about effect on a relationship; your finances; your life as you know it today.)

4. What is your personal fiery furnace? Is something threatening to you that you are avoiding?
