DESCRIPTION:We’re excited to continue collecting items for Operation Chri
 stmas Child! Throughout the year\, we are gathering donations to fill shoe
 boxes that share God’s love and the Good News of Jesus Christ with child
 ren around the world.\nFor August\, we will continue collecting toiletries
  and school supplies.\nWe are collecting:\n\nWashcloths\nToothbrushes\nHai
 rbrushes\nCombs\nSchool supplies\n\nWhen donating school supplies\, please
  remember that liquid glue is not permitted. Glue sticks are welcome. Soap
  and toothpaste are also no longer permitted in Operation Christmas Child 
 shoeboxes and cannot be included with donations.\nA collection bin is loca
 ted in the church lobby for your donations.\nA Note About Oversized Donati
 ons\nWe received a few donated items that are too large to fit inside the 
 shoeboxes. Because we are unsure who donated them\, these items will be di
 splayed in the church lobby. If one of the items belongs to you\, please f
 eel free to reclaim it so it may be returned or exchanged for smaller item
 s that will fit inside a shoebox. Any unclaimed items will be donated to a
 nother ministry that can benefit from them.\nVolunteers Needed August 8\nT
 eresa is inviting anyone who would like to help prepare the donated items 
 for packing to join her at her home on Saturday\, August 8\, anytime after
  9:00 AM. Volunteers will help remove items from their packaging and get e
