You’re always encouraged to bring a friend to church—but the first Sunday of the month is an especially great opportunity to do so. To help make inviting others a little easier, here are two simple and effective ideas.
First, the start of a new sermon series is a perfect time to invite someone. If they connect with what they hear, they’ll know there’s more to come in the weeks ahead. This Sunday, we’re kicking off our new series, “Through You,” making it an ideal time to extend an invitation.
Second, consider teaming up. If two or more of you know the same unchurched friend, invite them together. Hearing an invitation from more than one person helps guests feel more comfortable—and ensures they’ll recognize familiar faces when they arrive.
A simple invitation can make a meaningful difference. Who might God be placing on your heart to invite this week?
