VBS 2025 Recap

What an incredible week we experienced during True North VBS! Our church came alive each evening with the joy, energy, and laughter of 31 amazing kids who joined us to learn what it means to follow Jesus—our True North. In fact, we had such a great response that we had to close registration early to ensure every child had what they needed!
Throughout the week, the children learned how to “Trust Jesus” in every situation—when life feels uncertain, confusing, or even a little scary. They engaged with powerful Bible stories, sang worship songs that pointed their hearts to Christ, played games, made creative crafts, and built lasting friendships in a Christ-centered environment.
As a grand finale, the children performed during worship on Sunday, joyfully sharing what they learned by singing “My God is Powerful.” They did an incredible job, and their voices reminded all of us of God’s strength and faithfulness. It was a beautiful way to wrap up the week and celebrate all that God has done.

Sunday School at CTV
Sunday School is available for children ages 3 years old through 6th grade. It begins at 9:20 AM, giving you a few minutes to sign your child in with our caring teachers before worship begins at 9:30.  When you drop off your child/grandchild and friends in Sunday school, kindly make sure there is an adult in there.  Please initial by your child's name that they are here, this helps us keep track of growth year to year.  We sometimes get to have snack and drinks in SS (outside of the fellowship hour) but we do limit it to one item and one drink.  Toward the end of the service, children are brought into the sanctuary to join their families for the Lord’s Prayer, to learn the Apostles’ and Nicene Creeds, and to receive a communion blessing together with the whole congregation.

New Families
If it’s your first time, please plan a few extra minutes to register your child and share any important details, such as allergies or authorized pick-up persons. For your peace of mind, please know that all of our teachers are background-checked and committed to providing a safe, welcoming environment for your child.

Older Students
Children in 6th grade and up are invited to take the next step in their faith journey by joining our Confirmation Program.
