Money is the most common idol in the world. Always has been, always will be. Money itself is not bad, nor are the luxuries that it affords, but when the love of money becomes more important to us than God or our neighbor, and especially when we don’t even think of God or our neighbor, our covetousness and greed can lead to our destruction.
