Dear friends in Christ, please see the victories below that you and our participation in the ADF Church & Ministry Alliance program have helped make possible. 

These are just some of the 2025 wins you helped make possible:

  • States can defund Planned Parenthood. The Supreme Court confirmed that states may direct Medicaid funds away from abortion businesses and toward life-affirming care.
  • Girls’ private spaces are protected at a Christian camp. Camp IdRaHaJe doesn’t have to open girls’ showers and overnight spaces to boys (and vice versa).
  • A Christian school is back in state-sponsored sports. Mid Vermont Christian School was reinstated after being excluded for its religious belief that boys and girls are created differently.
  • Christian nonprofit received its nonprofit discount. After being denied because of its convictions, a Christian ministry ultimately received the nonprofit discounts from Asana and OpenAI that are offered to other nonprofits.
  • Gracehaven can participate in the public foster care system. The Christian ministry can continue to care for sex trafficking survivors without giving up its religious hiring practices while its case proceeds.
  • Vermont amends a law that openly targeted pregnancy centers. The state amended a discriminatory law that restricted pro-life centers’ ability to speak freely.
  • A Christian mother can continue her adoption journey. Jessica Bates is now free to move forward after previously being blocked for her faith.
  • SCOTUS affirmed that the government can’t discriminate among ministries based on their religious choices. The Court recognized that ministries determine what religious activity they should engage in, and the government can’t favor certain religious choices and punish others.

These wins remind us that God continues to work through faithful believers who steward their ministries well and those who stand firm in truth. Your membership helps more churches and ministries receive guidance, remain legally prepared, and contribute to outcomes that strengthen ministry work nationwide. As we enter 2026, we remain committed to serving you with clarity, care, and resources that help you stand on a firm legal foundation.
