We’re getting close—our annual Labor Day camping trip is less than a month away!
We’ve started discussing meals and making plans for the weekend. In past years, we have shared group dinners on the evenings when most campers are together, while everyone provides their own meals during the rest of the day.
As we decide what to serve and how much food we’ll need, we would love to get an accurate head count. If you plan to join us, please RSVP using the link below. Be sure to tell us how many people will be in your group and which nights you’ll be joining us for dinner.
Pack your gear and join us for our annual Labor Day camping trip at the beautiful Mogollon Rim! This free weekend getaway is open to everyone—CTV members, friends, and friends of friends.
Whether you camp in a tent, RV, trailer, or anything in between, you are welcome to join us! Don’t have an RV or trailer? Let Katie know in the church office. There is a fairly affordable RV and trailer rental company in the area that many people have had great experiences with.
And don’t forget to bring your off-road toys! Last year, we took a group ride to some absolutely breathtaking views along the Rim, and we’re hoping for even more adventures this year.
When:
Labor Day Weekend
Thursday, September 3–Monday, September 7, 2026
Where:
Enter Larson Campground into Google Maps, and it will lead you to the area. There are restrooms on the west side as you approach. Free potable water fill-ups and paid dumping are available at Canyon Point Campground, located less than a mile east of Forest Road 237 on Highway 260. If you reach Forest Lakes or pass the Forest Lakes General Store on your right, you’ve gone too far east and should turn around.
Food:
Group dinners are planned for Friday and Saturday evenings. The main entrée, condiments, plates, utensils, and other essentials will be provided. We will share more information about side dishes and desserts as plans are finalized. All other meals, snacks, and drinks are on your own.
Fellowship:
One of the best parts of weekends like this is the fellowship. Sitting around the campfire, sharing meals, laughing together, and simply spending unhurried time with one another is where many of our relationships with our church family truly grow deeper. Some of the best memories at CTV have been made around these campfires!
And remember…what happens at the campground stays at the campground! The only way to truly know about all the fun, laughter, stories, and unforgettable moments is to come join us!

Important:
This is dry camping with no hookups, so please bring everything you will need. Come when you can and leave when you need to—you do not have to stay for the entire five days to participate.
