We’re excited to continue collecting items for Operation Christmas Child! Throughout the year, we are gathering donations to fill shoeboxes that share God’s love and the Good News of Jesus Christ with children around the world.

For August, we will continue collecting toiletries and school supplies.

We are collecting:

  • Washcloths
  • Toothbrushes
  • Hairbrushes
  • Combs
  • School supplies

When donating school supplies, please remember that liquid glue is not permitted. Glue sticks are welcome. Soap and toothpaste are also no longer permitted in Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes and cannot be included with donations.

A collection bin is located in the church lobby for your donations.

A Note About Oversized Donations

We received a few donated items that are too large to fit inside the shoeboxes. Because we are unsure who donated them, these items will be displayed in the church lobby. If one of the items belongs to you, please feel free to reclaim it so it may be returned or exchanged for smaller items that will fit inside a shoebox. Any unclaimed items will be donated to another ministry that can benefit from them.

Volunteers Needed August 8

Teresa is inviting anyone who would like to help prepare the donated items for packing to join her at her home on Saturday, August 8, anytime after 9:00 AM. Volunteers will help remove items from their packaging and get everything ready for the shoebox-packing process.
