Burn the Lease Celebration – What a Night!

What an incredible evening of joy, gratitude, and celebration! On Saturday, November 1st, over 100 of us gathered at the Sun City Anthem Union Center Ballroom to mark a truly historic milestone — Christ the Victor Lutheran Church is now the official owner of our property!

After years of prayer, generosity, and faith-filled perseverance, we can finally say it: we own it (with a mortgage!) — and we got to do something unforgettable — we burned the lease!

The evening was filled with laughter, fellowship, and thanksgiving as we enjoyed a delicious catered meal from Brooklyn V’s, featuring Caesar salad, garlic knots, pasta shells, and chicken parmesan. Guests had fun playing Burn the Lease Bingo, tossing cornhole, and enjoying a heartwarming slideshow that reflected on our journey as a church family.

To top it all off, 14 lucky guests took home colorful centerpieces as keepsakes from the evening.

This wasn’t just a celebration of property ownership — it was a celebration of God’s faithfulness, the dedication of our congregation, and the bright future ahead.
Together, we give thanks for all He has done and all He will continue to do through Christ the Victor!
