What an incredible blessing our first Deep Dish gathering was! We were so grateful to welcome 27 amazing women who came together for an evening of fellowship, encouragement, and faith. We were deeply moved by the powerful testimony shared by Leean Mendoza — you could truly feel Christ’s presence in the room. Tears were shed, hearts were touched, and it was a beautiful reminder of how God works through our stories.

Of course, no Deep Dish would be complete without great food — and we had a TON of it! The potluck table was overflowing with delicious dishes, and the fellowship around the table was just as nourishing.

During the evening, we also created the cutest door hangers, and it was such a meaningful experience to see how each woman added her own unique touch. Even the simplest craft became a beautiful reflection of how God created each of us differently — all unique, all gifted, all beautiful.

Now we’re excited to look ahead to our next gathering!

Our April Deep Dish Ladies Event, themed “When Life Gives You Lemons…”, will be held on:

Thursday, April 23rd
 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM
 Christ the Victor

The evening will include a devotional, prayer, guest speaker, craft, and potluck dinner. Please RSVP and bring a side dish to share.

This is also a wonderful opportunity to invite a friend, especially someone who may not attend church or who has not yet begun a relationship with Jesus. You never know when someone else’s story might be exactly what God uses to inspire another person to begin their own walk with Christ.

If you need a ride or have difficulty driving at night, please reach out to ChurchOffice@ChristTheVictor.net so we can coordinate transportation for you.

We also want to encourage you to remember that every single one of us has a story. Sometimes we don’t realize how our experiences can inspire and encourage others. If you feel led to share your testimony at a future Deep Dish event, we would love to talk with you. We have many themes planned and are currently scheduling speakers.
