While the number of individuals served remained steady, we saw a meaningful increase in households and new neighbors seeking support. These aren’t just statistics — they represent families in our community who rely on this ministry for practical help and genuine care.
We are continuing our transition process with support from United Food Bank. Their team recently visited, and those who were scheduled to transition out have completed that process. We’re through most — though not all — of this transition season.
This is an important moment for our ministry. And it’s also an opportunity.
As we prepare for the coming months, our biggest need right now is volunteers.
We would especially love more helping hands who can arrive around 7:45 AM on Tuesdays and Thursdays to assist with setup and prep in the back before we open. Starting the morning strong helps everything run smoothly.
We also need additional volunteers with basic computer and data entry skills to help in the front. This will allow us to maintain consistent coverage when current volunteers are on vacation — and we will especially need this support as our winter visitors begin heading home for the summer.
If you are in town during the summer months and available to serve, we would truly love to plug you in.
We gather for prayer at 8:15 AM, open to guests at 8:30 AM, and typically wrap up around 10:30 AM on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Even serving once or twice a month makes a significant difference.
As always, donations are deeply appreciated. We are currently in need of:
We also need smaller cardboard boxes (around 12x10 or 10x10). Amazon-style shipping boxes are perfect and help us distribute food efficiently.
