Our Food Pantry ministry continues to serve many families in our community each week, and one of the ways we are able to provide fresh food is through our partnership with Sprouts Farmers Market. Sprouts generously donates produce, bread, and other items that help us keep our shelves stocked — but we need volunteers to help pick up these donations.

Right now, we are in great need of additional Sprouts drivers, especially as many of our current drivers are beginning to leave for the summer. Without enough drivers, we may unfortunately have to give up this donation opportunity, which would mean less fresh food available for the families we serve.

Drivers simply pick up the donated food from Sprouts, bring it back to Christ the Victor, weigh the items, and help put them away in the pantry. An SUV or van works especially well for transporting the donations.

Drivers will need to obtain a Food Handler’s License, which can be completed easily online. If needed, the church will gladly cover the cost, and all drivers will receive simple training so they feel comfortable and prepared.

This is a wonderful and practical way to serve our community and help ensure families have access to fresh food each week.
