As many of you know, our food pantry is currently undergoing a transitional phase to better align it with the church’s vision, mission, and core values. Several of our longtime volunteers have shared that they will not be returning—some immediately, and others after February 24. Because of this, we urgently need the support of our church family over the next few weeks as we pair new volunteers with experienced ones to ensure a smooth handoff of responsibilities.

Despite the challenges, yesterday went remarkably well, and we are grateful for everyone who helped. In addition, United Food Bank will be sending a team later this month to provide thorough training on their systems and processes so we can continue serving our community with excellence.

In the meantime, please consider lending a hand. We will open with prayer tomorrow at 8:15 AM, and typically wrap up by 10:30 AM. Your willingness to step in during this season makes a significant difference.
