New Director of Family Ministries & Events!

In response to the recent congregational surveys and the continued needs of our growing church, the Church Council has approved the hiring of Karla Chase as our new Director of Family Ministries & Events.

Karla will serve in this role from the beginning of August 2026 through May 2027. Any decision to extend this contract beyond that time will rest solely with the Church Council.

Karla brings with her more than 25 years of experience in Lutheran education. She has also completed colloquy, which is the process by which a teacher is formally recognized and certified for service in the Lutheran church. Her years of teaching, ministry involvement, and experience working with children and families make her well prepared to serve Christ the Victor in this important role.

As Director of Family Ministries & Events, Karla will help lead and coordinate several areas of congregational life, including youth ministry, small groups, missions, and church events. While this position is not a pastoral position and does not include preaching or administering the Sacraments, it will help strengthen many of the ministry areas we identified as important for our congregation’s continued growth.
