Our Food Pantry is busier than ever. Since Hope International in Coolidge closed, our client count has continued to rise, and our shelves are emptying more quickly than ever. We are currently especially in need of peanut butter, Top Ramen, canned vegetables, canned soup, canned tomato sauce or tomatoes, canned fruit, and cereal. Every donation—large or small—helps us provide food for families in our community.
We also have an increased need for Food Pantry drivers! We have been blessed with food donations from two additional stores—Walmart and Safeway in Coolidge—in addition to our existing Sprouts pickups. However, these additional store pickups mean we need more volunteers who are willing to drive.
If you can help with pickups, even just one or two days a month, it would be extremely helpful and would lighten the load for our current drivers. A Food Pantry van is available for these pickups, so volunteers do not need to use their own vehicle.
Thank you for helping us keep our shelves stocked and serve the growing number of individuals and families who depend on our Food Pantry!
If you are a winter visitor who is currently away—or if purchasing and physically delivering larger quantities is difficult—Amazon often offers good bulk prices on items such as Ramen, macaroni and cheese, peanut butter, and canned vegetables. Donations may be shipped directly to the church:
Christ the Victor Lutheran Church

Amazon does not always tell us who sent a donation, and we would love the opportunity to thank you. If you have items shipped to the church, please let the church office know they are coming and who they are from.
