This past Sunday, October 5th, we had the joy of blessing six quilts, three afghans, and two special baptism quilts during worship. Each stitch represents the love and prayers of our dedicated Quilters Group, who pour their time and talents into creating these gifts of comfort and care.
On Tuesday, October 7th, the six quilts and three afghans were delivered to Banner Ironwood Hospital and received by Chaplain Adrienne Scales. These beautiful handmade pieces will now bless patients and families in need of warmth, encouragement, and a tangible reminder of God’s love.
We are grateful for the faithful work of our quilters and the impact their ministry continues to have both within our congregation and out in the community. Truly, these quilts are more than fabric—they are expressions of Christ’s love, stitched together with prayer.
