I think we are all still recovering, but WOW, what a week we had at Rainforest Falls Vacation Bible School!

 

We were blessed to welcome just under 50 students for a fun-filled week of Bible lessons, worship, games, crafts, snacks, and fellowship as we learned about God's amazing love and faithfulness. We were also thrilled to have a wonderful group of teenagers step up to serve throughout the week. Their energy, enthusiasm, and willingness to help made a tremendous impact and were a blessing to both our younger students and adult volunteers.

 

A huge thank you goes out to all of our incredible volunteers. We simply could not have done it without you! Whether you helped with setup, takedown, decorations, registration, crew leadership, crafts, games, worship, making mac & cheese, or standing over a hot grill making grilled cheese sandwiches in the Arizona heat, you helped make this week possible. Thank you for sharing your time, talents, and servant hearts with our children and families.

 

We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to the local businesses that generously helped feed our students throughout the week. Barro's provided spaghetti and garlic bread on Monday, followed by pizza on Tuesday. On Wednesday, Portillo's supplied hot dogs that were a huge hit with the kids. Thursday brought Chick-fil-A nuggets and chips, and of course, a special visit from the Chick-fil-A Cow that brought plenty of smiles and excitement!

 

The week concluded with our students leading the congregation in a performance of "Majestic," one of the worship songs they learned during VBS. It was a wonderful way to celebrate all they experienced and learned throughout the week.
