This week, Christ the Victor is coming together to bless a family in crisis.

Recently, this family of nine moved from Texas to Arizona after a tragic and traumatic event. A truck deliberately drove into their home in Texas, killing their dog and injuring their oldest son. They were only able to bring what would fit in their vehicle when they relocated here. While the husband is working, the family only has one vehicle, and with seven children—including a 2-month-old baby—they are in great need of support.

We will be collecting donations to help provide them with some stability and encouragement as they begin this new chapter. Items especially needed include:

  • Clothing for boys (ages 15, 13, and 10) and girls (ages 11, 6, 3, and 2.5 months)
  • Toys and children’s items
  • Bedroom furniture
  • Diapers

Drop-off Information
 Donations can be brought in during worship on Sunday, October 5, or to the church office Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–2:30 PM. We kindly ask that all donations be received by Wednesday, October 8, so they can be delivered to the family next week.

If you have questions or would like to coordinate a drop-off, please reach out to Katie LaCoste, who is organizing the effort, smaller items can be brought to her office, for larger items or furniture, connect with Katie so we can figure out a good place to store it until it's picked up (probably in room 2 unless it’s a larger piece of furniture).
