This Sunday, January 4, Christ the Victor is excited to launch our new 11:00 AM Traditional Worship Service—a wonderful addition to our existing services at 8:00 AM (Traditional) and 9:30 AM (Contemporary). Nothing is being replaced; this new service allows us to grow, welcome more people, and offer greater flexibility for worship and Bible study.

However, we need to be honest—we cannot get this new service up and running without your help. At this time, we currently have little to no volunteers signed up to serve at the 11:00 AM service, and we urgently need help to make this service possible.

‍ Where Help Is Needed Most

We are especially in need of volunteers in the following areas:

  • Security Team (monitoring the main door)
  • Ushers
  • Altar Guild
  • Communion Assistants

Many of these roles are simple to learn and require only brief training, even if you’ve never served before. With recent holidays and travel, we have already experienced Sundays where we were short-handed—and adding a new service means we need an entirely new team.

Why This Matters

Volunteers help ensure that worship runs smoothly and that everyone who walks through our doors feels safe, welcomed, and cared for. This new service also creates a great opportunity to attend Adult Bible Class at 9:30 AM and then stay for Traditional Worship at 11:00 AM—with a little extra sleep!
