The STORY

The Bible tells one unified story of God's love and His plan to restore humanity to Himself. From the very beginning, God created the world and mankind to live in a perfect relationship with Him, but sin entered the world through human rebellion and brought separation from God. Rather than abandoning His creation, God began a plan of redemption that unfolded throughout history. He worked through imperfect people such as Abraham, Moses, Ruth, David, Daniel, Esther, and many others to reveal His faithfulness, keep His promises, and prepare the way for the coming Savior. Despite humanity's repeated failures, God continually showed mercy, called His people to repentance, and remained committed to His promise of restoration. This plan reached its fulfillment in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who lived a perfect life, died on the cross for the sins of the world, and rose from the dead so that all who believe in Him might be forgiven and reconciled to God. After His resurrection, Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to empower His Church to share the Gospel and make disciples of all nations. The story concludes with the promise that Christ will return, evil and death will be defeated forever, and God will create a new heaven and a new earth where His people will live with Him eternally. From Genesis to Revelation, the Bible is the story of God's relentless pursuit to save His people and restore all things through Jesus Christ.
