Confirmation at Christ the Victor

Confirmation is a two-year journey of growing in faith, understanding, and discipleship. Rooted in Martin Luther’s Small Catechism, students learn not only the foundations of the Lutheran faith but also how to live it out—developing both head knowledge and heart application.

  • Year One: A deep dive into the Small Catechism, exploring the Ten Commandments, Apostles’ Creed, Lord’s Prayer, and Sacraments.

  • Year Two: An overview of the Holy Scriptures, giving students a big-picture view of God’s story and our place in it.

Students will meet 23 weeks during the year (not meeting during our Lent & Advent wednesday services). Students typically begin during 7th and 8th grade, though older students (up through 12th grade) are also welcome. Those beyond high school are encouraged to attend our New Member Class or speak directly with the pastor about next steps.

Our goal is that every student comes to know not just what we believe, but why—so that they may confidently place their hope and trust in the triune God.

Classes are currently postponed to next year due to low enrollment.  Please let us know if you are interested in confirmation for your student.
