Anything that comes before God is an Idol. Money itself is not bad or good, it is amoral. In other words, it depends on what you do with it and the place and priority it has on your life that makes its use good or bad. Scripture warns us that the love of money is the root of all evil and that it is hard for the rich to enter the kingdom of God.
